Fellowship Training

The neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship program has six funded positions. Formal courses in epidemiology, statistics, newborn physiology and research methods are provided. In clinical training, an emphasis is given to bedside learning with close instructional relationships with the faculty.

Fellows are provided the time and mentorship needed to become successful in performing clinical and/or basic science research. Research projects can be initiated both within and outside the division and are tailored to the specific interests and goals of the individual.
