Dermatology Research Fellowship

Research Fellows

Faculty members in Saint Louis University’s Department of Dermatology have extensive experience in conducting both industry-sponsored clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies.

Our research program includes dermatology faculty, two senior research fellows, a clinical trial coordinator, a research nurse and a research assistant.

Fellows are involved in a variety of clinical trials and research projects. Ongoing and recent studies include clinical trials of cosmetic devices, psoriasis therapies, hyperhidrosis therapies, hidradenitis therapies and melanoma and other cutaneous cancer therapies, as well as vaccine trials and studies involving database analysis of patient populations and interventions.

Our research fellowship is currently filled for the 2018-2019 academic year. We will begin accepting applications in the winter 2018 for 2019-2020.

Fellows participate in the design, implementation and publication of studies. In addition, they take part in academic activities with the dermatology residents and in patient care in the faculty dermatology clinics.
