Global Hack

Non-profit organization in downtown St. Louis that hosts some of the nation's largest community-focused hackathons for youth.
What: Volunteers are needed for our annual Global Hackathon event at Chaifetz Arena, assisting with a variety of activities over the course of five days.

Gateway 180 Homeless Services

Non-profit organization operating the area's only family-centered homeless shelter, serving parents and their children.
What: Volunteers are needed for our annual Gateway180 Golf Classic, one of our largest fundraisers of the year. Assist with handing out food and drinks, greeting and directing golfers, and running the silent auction.
When: Friday, October 12 anytime 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Immune Deficiency Foundation

National patient organization dedicated to improving the diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life for persons with primary immunodeficiency diseases.
What: Volunteers are needed for our Walk for Primary Immunodeficiency event at Queeny Park, helping with all aspects.
When: Saturday, October 13 anytime 6:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

SLU Gardens To Tables

SLU-operated community garden that teaches youth the importance of healthy eating and locally-sourced produce.
What: Volunteers are needed for a garden work day - activities will include planting, turning soil, weeding, etc.  Gloves will be provided.
When: Saturday, October 13 anytime 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Books For Newborns

Non-profit organization that assembles bags of children's books for new mothers and their child.
What: Volunteers are needed to assemble bags of books to be delivered to new mothers in need.  Breakfast provided!
When: Saturday, October 13 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Forest ReLeaf

Non-profit organization dedicated to the planting of trees and other beautification work throughout St. Louis.
What: Forest ReLeaf will be planting 200 trees in Fairground Park to increase the urban tree canopy and beautify the park. Donuts and Coffee will be provided at the beginning and Hotdogs will be provided at the end of the event. Gloves and tools will also be provided by Forest ReLeaf.

Race To Cure Lymphoma

What: Volunteers are needed for our Flat As A Pancake 5K/10K race in Tower Grove Park, assisting with registration, awards, refreshments, and course direction.

What: Volunteers are needed for Boo at the Zoo, a non-scary kid-friendly evening of Zoo experiences filled with games, activities, entertainment and treats.

Friends of Kids with Cancer

Non-profit organization that supports children and families dealing with cancer.
What: Energetic volunteers are needed for the 26th Annual Fashion Show and Boutique event, a program where our kids dress-up, dance, and participate in a fashion show.  Help with all aspects of the event - we have two different shows.
