12/18- Katie Kelting, Ph.D., assistant professor of marketing at the Chaifetz School of Business, was awarded the 2019 Nancy McNeir Ring Award for Excellence in Teaching by Alpha Sigma Nu at the December Convocation on Friday, Dec. 13.
12/11- SLU's Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship hosted the annual Teen Elevator Pitch Competition on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Metropolitan Square Building in Downtown St. Louis and awarded $2,750 in cash prizes to four winning students from area high schools.
12/10- Members of the Chaifetz School's Service Leadership Program, Samantha Schmidt and Lance Hussey, mentored students in the St. Louis Internship Program's CEO Program hosted at the Chaifetz School of Business this summer. The program provided college-bound juniors and seniors from underserved areas in the St. Louis community the opportunity to experience life as college students while developing business skills.
12/03- Sarah Gray, 2015 graduate of the Chaifetz School One-Year MBA program, is combining her business skills and Master of Healthcare Administration to improve quality of care for patients while lowering costs as program director of the BJC Collaborative.
11/19- When you picture what it's like to be a kid, you probably don't imagine hospitals and surgeries. But for many young people at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, that is reality. That's why Patrick Holbrook, a sophomore Service Leadership Program student at the Chaifetz School of Business, spent the summer of 2019 volunteering to create a fun experience for youth patients at the hospital.
11/06- Three new professors, Patricio Duran, Marc Painter and Noni Zaharia, joined the distinguished faculty at the Chaifetz School of Business this fall. 10/25- A networking opportunity in an undergraduate writing course helped Chris Tkach, a 2009 graduate of the Chaieftz School's Master of Accounting program, launch his career at one of St. Louis' largest public accounting firms. Now he's a partner at RubinBrown.
09/26- Accounting Department Chair and Alfred V. Dunkin Professor of Accounting Scott Duellman, Ph.D., has been named interim Edward Jones Dean of the Chaifetz School of Business. His appointment is effective immediately.
09/16- Most people imagine their summers going on vacation, reconnecting with friends and working at an internship. Allison Hallums, a senior studying service leadership and human resource management at the Chaifetz School, decided to put others first this summer by volunteering at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri (BBBS).
08/07- Students from the Chaifetz School of Business defeated 128 students from 28 top business schools across the country, including finalists from Carnegie Mellon University, Texas A&M University and the University of Southern California, to win the $2,000 top prize at the fifth annual Deloitte-SAP Co-Innovation Event.
08/05- Technology integrates into every sector of business. Sarah Siebels, a rising senior studying marketing at the Chaifetz School of Business, experienced how technology shapes marketing during a summer 2019 internship at World Wide Technology (WWT).
07/26- Kelsie Eckert Cozart, a recent graduate of the Chaifetz School with a B.S. in international business and French '18, secured a full-time position as a Global Planning Analyst at Bayer, a global enterprise with core competencies in life sciences and agriculture.
07/26- While her high school classmates left St. Louis to start their college careers, Elise Nikolaisen had every intention of staying in St. Louis. Rising senior at the Chaifetz School of business, Nikolaisen combines marketing with her love for St. Louis through an internship at Jasper Paul PR and Marketing.

The Executive Master of International Business program (EMIB) at the Chaifetz School of Business organizes an annual two-week trip to Asia every summer to immerse their students in a global business experience.
06/21- The Boeing Institute for International Business at the Chaifetz School of Business hosted its annual global immersion trip over spring break to Budapest, Hungary for students to experience business challenges within Central Europe.
